Between 1948 and 1955 he studied Philosophy and Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Venerable English College. He trained in Communications with the BBC in London and took charge of the running of radio and television stations. In 1986 he was asked to take over responsibility for the Public Relations Office of the Milan San Raffaele Hospital’s Scientific Institute.
