Description

A collection of essays on faith, culture, spirituality, and religious practice by young Jesuits (seminarians and recently ordained priests) associated with The Jesuit Post (www.thejesuitpost.org), this book is aimed at young adult seekers both within and outside mainstream Christian churches and traditional religious practice. It will also appeal to those interested in Ignatian spirituality and Jesuit practices, both of which gained new prominence with the election of Pope Francis, himself a Jesuit. Writing about these issues and their intersection with high and low culture, the authors seek to be about a faith that presents itself as relevant, and to speak to their peers “as one friend speaks to another,” drawing inspiration from the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.
