First published in 1990, Bishop Donal Murray has now updated his contemplative booklet on the Eucharist in anticipation of the 2012 International Eucharistic Congress, which will take place in Dublin. Drawing inspiration from the visit in 1979 of Pope John Paul II to Ireland, and using the gospel account of the disciples on the road to Emmaus as focus, Bishop Murray offers a short, reflective discussion on the Eucharist and what it should mean to us.
