Jan Nelson, Author
Jan Nelson has served in clinical, educational, and church settings and holds a Master’s degree in Human Development. She founded and is Executive Director of a community healing center in Fargo, North Dakota called HeartSprings. She lives in Fargo with her husband and has two children.
David Aaker, Author
David A. Aaker brings a broad spectrum of personal and professional training, including grief counseling, hospital chaplaincy, and pastoral ministry, to his book The Bereavement Ministry Program: A Comprehensive Guide for Churches, cowritten with Jan Nelson. He is pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center, Minnesota. He and his wife have five children.
